Resource Orchestration
Recently, the convergence of emerging embedded computing, information technology, and distributed control became a key enabler for the future technologies, such as CyberPhysical Systems (CPS) and Internet-of-Things (IoT). Decision-making mechanisms are crucial for these systems in order to support such an emerging multidisciplinary frontier towards enabling future technology developments. Our group has experience in designing and Hardware/Software co-design resource orchestrators for these systems based on low-computational complexity algorithms with (re-)configurability and scalability features. Further performance and energy efficiency can be applied by fine-tuning these algorithms based on inherent constraints posed by target application domain.
